Tuyen Quang summarizes 10 years of implementing the Law on Citizen Reception

In recent years, the work of receiving citizens in Tuyen Quang province has had positive changes and become routine. All levels, sectors, units and localities have strictly implemented the legal regulations and instructions of the province. Therefore, the effectiveness of the work of receiving citizens has been improved, contributing significantly to the results of the work of handling complaints and denunciations in the province. The Provincial People's Committee has directed the Provincial Inspectorate and relevant agencies to organize inspections and reviews to thoroughly resolve crowded, complicated and prolonged cases.

Authorities at all levels in the province have regularly deployed, disseminated, and propagated the law on citizen reception, thereby helping to ensure proper procedures and order in the implementation. Citizens' complaints, denunciations, recommendations, and reflections are received, guided, and responded to promptly, ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of citizens. Citizen reception work is carried out seriously, comprehensively, and synchronously with policies and solutions to improve responsibility and effectiveness of citizen reception work.

The responsibility of leaders in citizen reception work is enhanced, the qualifications and professional skills of officials and civil servants working in citizen reception are improved. At the same time, the coordination between the Central and local levels in citizen reception work, handling complaints and denunciations is increasingly improved. The Provincial People's Committee closely coordinates with the Government Inspectorate and ministries, branches, and the Central Citizen Reception Committee in citizen reception work, contributing to limiting the situation of petitions and complaints arising beyond the level, limiting the situation of citizens gathering in large numbers to central agencies to file complaints, actively contributing to maintaining political security and social order and safety of the locality.

At the conference, representatives of departments, branches and localities focused on discussing and contributing opinions to assess the current situation, proposing solutions to continue improving the quality and effectiveness of citizen reception work, contributing to the results of handling complaints and denunciations in the province.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Nguyen Hong Diep, Head of the Central Citizen Reception Committee, highly appreciated Tuyen Quang province for its work in receiving citizens in the past time. Tuyen Quang is a leading locality in online citizen reception, creating favorable conditions for citizens. He suggested that Tuyen Quang province continue to promote the achieved results, continue to improve the quality of forecasting the situation right from the grassroots level; unify internally on citizen reception work related to new issues arising from the grassroots level, contributing to the good implementation of the tasks of local economic and social development.

Concluding the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Son acknowledged and commended the efforts of all levels, sectors and localities in effectively implementing the Law on Citizen Reception in recent times. He emphasized that with the active participation of the political system from the province to the grassroots level, the number of complaints, denunciations, recommendations and reflections in the province has tended to decrease compared to previous years. Many newly arising cases have been considered and resolved by authorities at all levels right at the grassroots level. Citizens' complaints, denunciations, recommendations and reflections have been received, guided and responded to promptly, ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of citizens.

Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Le Thi Thanh Tra awarded Certificates of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee to individuals.

He requested that all levels, sectors, units and localities must have innovative thinking, not avoid or shirk responsibility, be determined, make efforts, take drastic actions, organize timely, flexible and effective implementation of citizen reception tasks according to the provisions of the law on citizen reception and the direction and guidance of the Central and the province. In particular, focus on implementing tasks and solutions to strengthen discipline, order, improve the effectiveness and efficiency of direction, administration and compliance, associated with promoting the responsibility of leaders in implementing tasks.

All levels, sectors and localities proactively coordinate to organize citizen reception to serve Party Congresses at all levels, the 14th National Party Congress, and the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

The Inspectorate needs to strengthen inspection and examination of the responsibilities of heads of agencies and units in receiving citizens, handling complaints and denunciations; and perform well the role of a state management agency and a standing agency assisting the Provincial Working Group in receiving citizens.

At the same time, promptly advise competent authorities to rectify and strictly handle irresponsible groups and individuals who commit violations in the work of receiving citizens. Agencies and units need to closely coordinate in the work of receiving citizens, resolving complaints and denunciations, especially the guidance work of provincial units with localities to thoroughly resolve petitions arising at the grassroots level.
On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 23 collectives and 26 individuals for their outstanding achievements in 10 years of implementing the Law on Citizen Reception in Tuyen Quang province.
