The Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Ho Chi Minh City has just sent a notice to the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of districts and colleges in the city about continuing to recruit candidates to study and work in the field of general nursing in Germany.
Accordingly, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Ho Chi Minh City requested districts, towns and colleges that train in health sectors to inform the People's Committees of wards and communes and students about this program and submit applications if needed.
In the 2024-2025 course, the program will select 120 candidates. The application period for the 2024-2025 course starts from March 6 to May 5.
During the 3 years of apprenticeship, students receive the lowest apprenticeship salary of 34.7 million VND (Illustration: Hoang Le).
By participating in the program, students will be supported to study German in Hanoi for 12 months to reach B2 level of German, learn about German customs, habits, culture and law. Students will pay a part of the language study fee of 70 euros/month (equivalent to 1.86 million VND).
During the course, students are arranged to stay in the dormitory, free of charge, and supported with 36 euros/month (about 960,000 VND/month) for meals.
Students will also be paid the first exam fee to obtain the German B1 certificate; supported with a general health check-up before departure, visa application fee and airfare to Germany.
After studying the language, students must pass the B1 level exam and study in depth to B2 level.
When coming to Germany, students will learn the language and professional skills with a 3-year training course to become a general nurse, receiving a German national certificate.
After obtaining a national certificate, students can work, receive salaries and social benefits like German citizens, and are considered for permanent residence in Germany.
During their vocational training at German training institutions, students receive an apprenticeship salary.
The training and reception facility will recommend accommodation for the student. The student pays a maximum of 350 euros per month for rent, if it exceeds, the training facility will pay the remaining difference.
The conditions to apply for this program are citizens aged 19-30 (those born from May 1, 1994 to May 1, 2005), who have graduated from high school with a high school transcript that meets the required scores (3 main subjects: Math, Literature, Foreign Language and 1 natural science subject, 1 social science subject with a minimum average score of 5 in all 3 years of high school).
