Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of Kien Giang Provincial Youth Union Phan Dinh Nhan said: In recent years, the Youth Union at all levels in the province has made many innovations and breakthroughs in the content and methods of operation. The work of the Youth Union and youth movements have achieved many important results. The movements are increasingly suitable, close to reality and meet the legitimate needs and aspirations of union members and young people. Typical examples are the youth start-up movement, youth volunteering to build and protect the Fatherland, etc.

The movements have formed a generation of progressive youth, leading in many fields, with clear political awareness and ideals, daring to face challenges and difficulties. The youth have a deep awareness of their roles and responsibilities, constantly studying, cultivating and training to become a vanguard force, carrying out the tasks of socio-economic development, protecting the Fatherland, and building the country in the period of accelerating industrialization, modernization and international integration.

- Reporter: What is the role of the Youth Union, as well as union members and young people, in the development of Kien Giang province?

- Mr. Phan Dinh Nhan: Taking care of revolutionary ethics education for the young generation is considered the top priority task that the Youth Union at all levels in the province is interested in implementing. Through the movements and activities of the Youth Union, an environment is created for union members and young people to practice and mature. Activities are closely linked to local tasks, especially the tasks of socio-economic development, building new rural areas, civilized urban areas; taking the lead in innovation, starting a business, establishing a career, and getting rich legitimately...

To make the Youth Union's movements more practical and effective, the Youth Union at all levels in the province proactively advises Party committees and coordinates with local authorities in performing tasks. At the same time, effectively promote youth movements in volunteer activities, accompanying the community, especially in remote, isolated, disadvantaged areas, and areas that require the pioneering role of youth.

From practice, the Youth Union in the province has become a companion of young people in studying and training. In revolutionary action movements, the Union has gathered a large number of young people to promote the spirit of initiative and creativity to successfully carry out the tasks assigned by the Party and authorities at all levels. At present, each young person must fully understand the requirements of society for young people, thereby correctly identifying goals, ideals, dreams, ambitions, correct political awareness, and seeing their responsibility in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

- Reporter: What specific solutions does the Youth Union have to raise the political and ideological awareness of union members and young people, especially in today's digital age?

- Mr. Phan Dinh Nhan: 2025 is a year with many important political events of the country, especially the Party Congresses at all levels leading up to the 14th National Party Congress. This is an important time for young people to demonstrate their mettle, responsibility and pioneering spirit. In the context of strong digital transformation, young people need to be pioneers in researching and applying digital technology to all aspects of life and Youth Union work. Youth Unions at all levels need to proactively exploit the advantages of the 4.0 industrial revolution, organize activities to support young people in accessing technology, developing digital skills, and participating in innovation and creativity projects. At the same time, continue to promote youth movements to participate in building new rural areas, civilized urban areas, start-ups, socio-economic development, contributing to the effective implementation of political tasks of localities and units.

In 2025, with the theme "Kien Giang Youth is proud to firmly believe in the Party", especially in the Youth Month with a series of activities and movements, it is an opportunity for union members and young people to affirm their pioneering spirit, creativity, and responsibility to society, contributing to the common development of their homeland and country.
