This morning (December 19), Luong Xuan Truong, Nguyen Tuan Anh, Nguyen Cong Phuong, Le Van Son, Tran Huu Dong Trieu and Nguyen Huu Anh Tai received their bachelor's degrees in Physical Education from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Physical Education and Sports. Hoang Anh Gia Lai Club - the host of the 6 new graduates at the time they began their training program - said that all 6 graduated with honors.

Of these, only Anh Tai and Van Son still play for Hoang Anh Gia Lai. Xuan Truong, Cong Phuong, and Tuan Anh have left the mountain town team in the past two years. Dong Trieu retired in early 2024, after playing for Quang Nam Club in his last professional season.

Xuan Truong, Cong Phuong and their teammates enrolled in 2014 after graduating from high school. At that time, this group of players made a big splash in the U19 Vietnam team.

In addition to the 6 players mentioned above, there are a number of other teammates who also studied and graduated this time but did not attend. Among them, Vu Van Thanh and Nguyen Van Toan are on duty with the Vietnamese team at the AFF Cup (ASEAN Cup) 2024.
