From a girl with a poor childhood to the youngest female "shark" on Shark Tank

(Dan Tri) - Le Han Tue Lam is becoming the center of attention as the only female and youngest investor in Shark Tank Vietnam season 6.

The Shark Tank program has just launched a new season of "sharks" with many familiar powerful characters such as Shark Hung, Shark Binh, Shark Hung Anh, Shark Louis Nguyen.

In addition, the audience's attention is focused on a brand new face, Shark Le Han Tue Lam. Not only is she the only female investor, she is also the youngest, born in 1994.

Tue Lam is a talented young face in the Venture Capital world. She holds the position of representative director of Nextrans Fund in Vietnam, in charge of the Southeast Asian and US markets.

In 2021, Tue Lam was named by Forbes magazine in the list of 30 Under 30 Asia in the field of Finance. She is one of 3 Vietnamese people to have this honor.

Rise from poverty

Shark Le Han Tue Lam was born and raised in a poor family in Hai Duong . Her father died early, leaving her mother to raise four children alone.

Tue Lam once shared that many times, she only dreamed of a meal with meat. Difficult circumstances made her constantly strive.

Since middle school, the girl born in 1994 has pursued the sole goal of earning a lot of money so that her family can have a better life.

In college, Tue Lam majored in Foreign Economics at the Foreign Trade University. Right from her first year, she learned about stock investment, pouring all her savings into it. She also supported herself by working as a tutor.

After graduating, Tue Lam worked in many jobs such as financial analyst intern at IPCOMS, personal credit consultant at Citibank, and investor relations manager at Base.vn.

In 2019, she became the representative director of Nextrans Investment Fund in Vietnam at the age of 26. At that time, the female "shark" was one of the rare and young female investors in Vietnam.

Tue Lam's job is to find potential new companies that can be invested in, while supporting the units that have invested in before. She also founded the Venture Capital Fund Program - an intensive training program for founders and entrepreneurs on how to work effectively and attract investors.

Currently, Tue Lam is known as a speaker in forums for startups.

Married to a husband 22 years older than her

Just a few days ago, Shark Le Han Tue Lam held a wedding in her hometown of Hai Duong.

Her husband is Loic Faussier (born 1972, France). He is a former bank general director, graduated with a degree in Economics from Paris Assas University and holds two master's degrees: a master's in finance from Paris Dauphine University and a master's in business law from the Paris Institute of Politics .

Before getting married, the couple was very private and did not share their love story with the media.
