From January 1, 2025, investment projects in Quang Nam under 15 billion VND will have their final settlement approved by the Director of the Department of Finance.

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee authorized the Director of the Department of Finance to approve the final settlement of completed projects and the Chairman of the District People's Committee to approve the final settlement of compensation, support and resettlement costs.

Specifically: The Director of the Department of Finance approves the final settlement of the project completed by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee (or authorized to approve) of investment projects with a total investment of less than 15 billion VND and investment projects with a total investment of 15 billion VND or more but with an implementation value at the end of the project of less than 15 billion VND, decided by the competent authority to stop implementation for settlement.

Chairmen of People's Committees of districts, towns and cities approve the settlement of compensation, support and resettlement costs of projects that have been authorized by the Provincial People's Committee to the District People's Committee to approve compensation, support and resettlement plans, regardless of the limit; approve the settlement of all compensation, support and resettlement costs of projects with compensation plans approved by the Provincial People's Committee and approved by the District People's Committee for adjustment and supplementation.

The authorization period is from January 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026.
