Arrest of suspect using hammer to rob gold shop in Hung Yen

On the morning of August 19, speaking with VietNamNet reporter, Colonel Nguyen Thanh Truong informed that Van Lam District Police, Hung Yen Province is coordinating with functional forces to arrest the subject who caused the robbery of a gold shop in the Duong Cai market area, National Highway 5, in Thi Trung village, Dinh Du commune.

According to the provincial police leader, the police are investigating the suspects with the determination to soon arrest the suspect.

According to initial information, the incident occurred at around 1:20 p.m. on August 18. A young man wearing dark long clothes, a helmet, a mask, gloves, and a shoulder bag entered the gold shop.

The subject used a hammer to smash the glass counter, grabbed the gold and ran away. People in the store discovered him and ran out shouting, but it was too late.

Receiving information from the people, the police arrived at the scene, verified, investigated, and arrested the suspect.
