Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry officially has a new principal

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Tat Toan officially became the Principal of Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry.

Today (January 24), the Minister of Education and Training signed a decision to recognize the Rector of Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry for the 2020-2025 term.

According to this decision, the Ministry of Education and Training recognized Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Tat Toan, Vice Rector of Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry, to hold the position of Rector of this University for the 2020-2025 term.

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Tat Toan was born in 1972, graduated with a degree in veterinary medicine from Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry; a master's degree in veterinary medicine from Los Baños National University (Philippines); and a doctorate in veterinary medicine from Chonnam National University (Korea).

Since March 2019, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Tat Toan has been appointed as Vice Rector of Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry. Previously, Mr. Toan held the position of Head of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine of the university.

The school's board of directors currently has only two members: Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Tat Toan as Principal and Dr. Tran Dinh Ly as Vice Principal. With this recognition decision, Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry has ended the long-term vacancy of the principal position since Professor Dr. Nguyen Hay retired at the end of 2020.
