Nguyen Tat Thanh University announced admission scores for 57 training majors in 2024

On August 17, the Admissions Council of Nguyen Tat Thanh University (NTTU) officially announced the benchmark scores for all regular university training programs based on the 2024 high school graduation exam scores and early admission methods including admission based on the 2024 capacity assessment exam scores of VNU-HCM and VNU-HN, and admission based on the 2024 high school transcripts.

The highest admission score is 23 points for Medicine.

According to the 2024 benchmark scores announced by Nguyen Tat Thanh University, the admission method based on the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam ranges from 15 to 23 points depending on the major.

The highest score is General Medicine with 23 points . Next, Dentistry is 22.5 points ; Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy have the same score of 21 points . Nursing , Rehabilitation Technology, Medical Testing Technology, Preventive Medicine have a score of 19 points . The remaining majors have a standard score of 15 points.

For the 2 early admission methods including admission based on the 2024 National University-HCMC and National University-Hanoi's 2024 capacity assessment test scores, admission based on the 2024 high school transcripts.

Specifically, with the admission method based on the National University of Ho Chi Minh City's 2024 General Entrance Exam scores, the highest standard score is 650 points for Medicine ; Dentistry is 600 points; Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy have the same score of 570 points ; all other majors are 550 points .

For the admission method based on the National University of Hanoi's 2024 General Entrance Exam scores, the highest standard score is 85 points for Medicine ; Dentistry is 75 points ; all other majors are 70 points . For the admission methods based on high school transcripts, the standard score for Medicine is 8.3 points , followed by Dentistry ; Traditional Medicine; Pharmacy is 8.0 points , the majors of Preventive Medicine; Nursing; Rehabilitation Technology, Medical Testing Technology ; Law have a score of 6.5 points . The remaining majors have a standard score of 6.0 points.

Compared to the previously announced floor score, the benchmark score in 2024 of Nguyen Tat Thanh University has fluctuated but not significantly, stable in most majors. However, when compared to 2023, it can be seen that in 2024, the school opened new majors in the health and education sectors, showing the school's adaptation to the labor market and students' interest in specific fields of study.

Candidates admitted to university need to confirm their admission online before 5:00 p.m. on August 27.

According to the university admission roadmap, before 5:00 p.m. on August 19, schools will announce the benchmark scores and results of the first round of admission. Accordingly, no later than 5:00 p.m. on August 27, 2024 (including Saturday and Sunday) , all admitted candidates must complete the first round of online admission confirmation on the Ministry of Education and Training's General Admission System.

This is a mandatory requirement for all candidates who wish to study in the major they have been admitted to at universities. After this time, candidates who do not confirm their admission will be considered as refusing to enroll and must wait for additional admission notice from Nguyen Tat Thanh University.

In particular, for candidates who have confirmed their admission, they need to follow the steps in the admission process. The first 2,000 candidates admitted before September 15 have the opportunity to receive a scholarship of up to 15 million VND, including: 10 million VND (for students admitted according to their first choice on the candidate portal of the Ministry of Education and Training, 7 million VND for students admitted according to the remaining choices. The scholarship will be deducted directly from the admission fee. In addition, students will receive a voucher worth 5 million VND to study foreign languages at the School's Foreign Language Center.

It is expected that Nguyen Tat Thanh University will conduct additional admissions for all 57 training programs.
