(NLDO) - National Economics University and 15 of its training programs have been recognized by the International Education Quality Accreditation Organization FIBAA as meeting quality standards.
On the afternoon of October 24, in Hanoi, Ms. Diane Freiberger, General Director of the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA), awarded the certificate of quality standards for educational institutions and 15 training programs to the National Economics University.

National Economics University is one of the first universities in Vietnam to complete the FIBAA quality accreditation process with 100% of criteria meeting and exceeding the standards. Criteria such as lecturer quality, student service quality, training programs, practical application, quality of facilities and services... are all evaluated by FIBAA with very high and strict requirements.
The recognition of the educational institution's quality standards by the FIBAA educational accreditation organization has affirmed the school's success in continuously ensuring and improving the quality of education, continuing to increase the benefits of learners such as recognition and transfer of credits, registration for higher education at the world's leading prestigious universities, as well as job opportunities in developed countries.
15 training programs for National Economics University were recognized as meeting standards on this occasion.
Professor Pham Hong Chuong, President of the National Economics University, on behalf of the university, thanked and appreciated the support from FIBAA in the process of implementing accreditation activities at the level of educational institutions and training programs.
In addition, Professor Pham Hong Chuong highly appreciated the FIBAA standards and said that this is a solid foundation for the National Economics University to comprehensively evaluate the school's activities as well as each training program, especially the teaching and learning process. At the same time, he affirmed that the school will implement quality improvement activities based on recommendations from FIBAA expert groups.
Faculty of Business Administration receives FIBAA accreditation for its programs
Educational quality assessment activities according to FIBAA standards have been implemented at the National Economics University since the beginning of 2022. By March 2024, the school had completed the quality assessment process at the educational institution level and by September 2024, it had completed the quality assessment process for 15 training programs.
Up to now, the National Economics University has had 20 programs meeting the quality standards of the ACBSP organization, USA, 15 programs meeting the quality standards of the FIBAA organization, Germany. In addition, there are 16 training programs meeting the quality standards of domestic standards.
In 2024, the school will continue to implement the external assessment process for 21 training programs according to FIBAA standards and 12 training programs according to domestic standards. By the end of the first quarter of 2025, it is expected that 84 training programs will be recognized as meeting quality standards according to different accreditation standards, accounting for 50% of the school's total training programs.
The Institute of Certified Public Accountants' program is accredited.
Currently, the whole country has only 11 higher education institutions recognized as meeting quality standards by international education quality accreditation organizations.
FIBAA is the Swiss government's quality assurance organization headquartered in both Germany and Switzerland, conducting accreditation, evaluation and development of educational institutions and programs worldwide in the fields of social sciences and humanities, law, management and economics.
The organization is also a member of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA), the European Quality Assurance Register in Higher Education (EQAR), the European University Association (EUA), the Central and Eastern European Network of Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (CEENQA) and the International Network of Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE).
