The Admissions Council of Foreign Trade University has just approved the threshold score to meet the admission requirements for 3 admission methods:

Admission method 1 - Admission based on high school academic results for national excellent students, provincial and city excellent students, and specialized candidates.

Method 2 - Admission based on a combination of international language certificates and high school academic results/international competency certificates.

Method 5 - Admission based on the capacity assessment test scores of Ho Chi Minh City National University and Hanoi National University.

In general, the threshold score to meet the admission application requirements is stable over the years. In 2024, the number of early admission applications increased slightly compared to 2023. Particularly for the admission method combining international language certificates and international competency assessment certificates (SAT, ACT, A-level), the number of candidates registered was significantly higher than the previous year. According to statistics, the total number of candidates with SAT scores from 1,530 was 196, from 1,550 was 77 and especially there were 2 candidates with an almost perfect SAT score of 1,590.

According to regulations, candidates must enter their wishes into the general admission system of the Ministry of Education and Training and graduate from high school to be officially recognized as admitted.

Scores are calculated on a 30-point scale. The method of calculating and converting international certificates and converting scores for admission method 5 is specifically guided in the school's 2024 University Admissions Project.

Notification of admission results will be sent to each candidate via the email address they registered. From June 17, candidates can look up admission results on the school's online admission system at: https://www.tuyensinh.ftu.edu.vn.

In 2024, Foreign Trade University will enroll 4,130 students and open several new majors, including Computer Science and International Business, in a dual degree program with the University of Queensland, Australia.

Tuition fees for standard programs next school year range from 22 to 25 million VND per year, high quality 45-48 million, advanced 68-70 million. For the career-oriented group, the four programs of Hotel Management, Digital Marketing, Digital Business, Integrated Marketing Communications have tuition fees of 60-65 million VND per year; the remaining 45-48 million.
