On the afternoon of July 3, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Ho Chi Minh City National University) announced the conditional admission scores for early admission methods, in which the capacity assessment score increased slightly.

In general, the admission benchmark using early admission methods in 2024 of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Ho Chi Minh City National University) has not changed, except for the capacity assessment score which has increased slightly compared to last year.

The school has just announced the early admission methods, including:

Method 1.2: Priority is given to direct admission of the best candidates from high schools in 2024 (according to regulations of Ho Chi Minh City National University).

Method 2: Priority admission according to regulations of Ho Chi Minh City National University.

Method 4: Admission based on the results of the competency assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University in 2024.

Method 5.1: Priority is given to students who are members of provincial/municipal teams participating in national excellent student competitions or who won first, second, or third prizes in provincial/municipal excellent student competitions.

Method 5.3: Admission based on high school academic results for candidates with excellent achievements, especially outstanding in social, cultural and sports activities.

Multimedia communications has the highest benchmark scores in early admission methods 1.2, 2, 4, 5.1, 5.3, with results in order of methods being 28.9; 28.85; 963; 29; 28.85 points.

Competency assessment benchmark: 635 - 963

Admission scores based on competency assessment test scores range from 635 to 963 points. In addition to multimedia communications (963 points), there are 11 majors with benchmark scores of 800 points or more.

The three new majors that the school will open in 2024 have an admission score of over 700 points: art studies 765 points, Korean business and commerce 785 points, and international studies 745 points.

Priority admission scores according to regulations of Ho Chi Minh City National University range from 24 - 28.85 points.

Even if you have met the admission requirements, you must continue to register for admission on the Ministry's system.

Candidates who meet the admission requirements must continue to register for admission on the Ministry of Education and Training's system from July 18 to 5:00 p.m. on July 30.

If the candidate decides to enroll in the school, he/she needs to put the major that the candidate wants to study that meets the admission requirements in the first order (first choice). In case the candidate has not decided to enroll, he/she can continue to register, arrange the order of preferences in order of priority to participate in the general selection round.

Candidates who are admitted based on the results of the 2024 Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment exam, the school will conduct a post-check of the priority areas and priority subjects. In case of needing to adjust the priority areas and subjects, candidates must make a request for adjustment (with supporting evidence) and send it directly to the school or email address tuyensinhdh.hcmussh.edu.vn before 5:00 p.m. on July 9.
