Cuu Long University received and worked with the Department of Health of Svay Rieng province

On the afternoon of August 29, leaders of Cuu Long University had a meeting and worked with a delegation of the Department of Health of Svay Rieng province (Cambodia) on human resource training.

Attending the meeting, on behalf of Svay Rieng province, there were Mr. Kuch Sitha, Director of the Department of Health; Mr. Riem Sina, Head of the Administration Department - Department of Health; Dr. Ros Thon, Deputy Director of Svay Rieng Provincial General Hospital; and members of the delegation.

On the side of Cuu Long University, there were Meritorious Teacher, Associate Professor, Dr. Luong Minh Cu - Party Committee Secretary, Principal; Dr. Nguyen Thanh Dung, Vice Principal; and leaders of a number of affiliated units.

Speaking at the meeting, Meritorious Teacher Luong Minh Cu gave an overview of the school and the cooperative relationship between the school and Cambodia in recent times.

This academic year, Cuu Long University is allowed to open 3 new majors in the health sciences sector. The university is ready to cooperate with Svay Rieng province in particular and other provinces of Cambodia in general to train human resources…

Representatives of the two units discussed the expected contents of cooperation in the coming time; supporting the training of medical resources for Svay Rieng province; training Vietnamese language for students in Svay Rieng province...

Previously, on January 24, Cuu Long University signed a memorandum of understanding with the Department of Health of Svay Rieng province on cooperation in human resource training, scientific research, technology transfer and other fields.

Dr. Nguyen Thanh Dung, Vice President of Cuu Long University, presented a souvenir to the Department of Health of Svay Rieng province.

Currently, Cuu Long University is one of 20 training institutions in Vietnam licensed by the Ministry of Education and Training to organize training, exams and grant Vietnamese language certificates to foreigners according to the 6-level competency framework.

Up to now, the School has trained and granted Vietnamese language certificates to about 700 foreigners.
