On November 1, in Hanoi, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Head of the Party Central Committee's External Relations Commission Le Hoai Trung received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Vietnam Ha Vi for a courtesy visit on the occasion of the beginning of his term of office.
Ambassador Ha Vi expressed his honor to receive the assignment in Vietnam, emphasizing the guiding role of the Party channel relationship for the overall relationship between the two countries, especially the visits of the highest leaders of the two Parties and the two countries in recent times. The Ambassador hoped that the two sides would continue to coordinate to promote the development of the relationship between the two Parties and the two countries in depth in the direction of "6 more". Ambassador Ha Vi suggested that the two sides strengthen cooperation in theoretical research in the fields of Party building, the path to socialism, and the development of a socialist market economy suitable to the characteristics of each country. Ambassador Ha Vi also expressed his hope that the two sides would step up propaganda work to consolidate the social foundation of the bilateral relationship, so that cadres, party members and people of the two countries could have a deeper understanding of the tradition of friendship between the two Parties, the two countries and the two peoples, the current achievements of friendly cooperation and the bright future of the relationship between the two Parties and the two countries.
