As the first candidate to leave the exam room at Cau Giay High School (Quan Hoa Ward, Cau Giay District), Luu Thi Ha Linh, a student at Mai Dich Secondary School (Cau Giay District), is confident that she will get a score of 9 or higher in the literature exam with more than 4 pages of test.
"I think this year's exam was within my ability, not too difficult, and partly because I "hit the mark". I reviewed the topics but had a feeling that I would review each lesson more thoroughly. I was very happy to be the first candidate to leave the exam room and receive cheers and encouragement from the volunteers and parents," said Ha Linh.

Recalling her feelings when reading the topic, Nguyen Bao Tram, a student at Dich Vong Hau Secondary School (Cau Giay District), said she was happy about the literary essay section on the work Distant Stars .
"I find short stories easier to analyze than poetry. I think the exam questions are quite easy and open. As for the literary essay section, I am confident that I will get a high score," said Bao Tram.
Many candidates said that this year's literature exam did not have any "tricky" questions, so they were confident of getting high scores.
At the exam site of Le Quy Don High School (Ha Dong District), at around 9:55, Chu Phuong Huyen was the first candidate to leave the school gate. According to Huyen, with her "right-on-point" revision, and somewhat "off-track" revision, she is confident that she will get at least 8 points or more on this morning's literature exam.
"In addition to reviewing "by the book", I am very confident with the knowledge I have reviewed. I believe I will be admitted to Le Quy Don High School", Huyen shared.

In 2023, the admission score to grade 10 public schools in Hanoi will be calculated by the sum of the math test score, the literature test score (multiplied by a coefficient of 2), plus the foreign language test score and plus priority points (if any).
This afternoon, more than 115,000 candidates will take the foreign language test in the form of objective multiple-choice tests, with a test duration of 60 minutes.
