Although she is a commune official, has a stable job with 8 years of experience as the President of the Commune Education Promotion Association, Ms. Huynh Thi Hoa Hang (born in 1983) in Hiep Duc 2 village, Chi Cong commune, Tuy Phong district, continues to try her hand at agricultural production, growing hydroponic vegetables and initially achieved success, bringing high efficiency. This is the first experimental model of growing hydroponic vegetables in Tuy Phong district.

With her inherent passion and dynamism, in October 2022, she decided to participate in the hydroponic vegetable growing model. After receiving technical support and 50% of the initial investment capital from the Binh Thuan Center for Information and Application of Science and Technology Advances and the Tuy Phong District Economic - Infrastructure Department, taking advantage of her home garden of over 28m2 , Ms. Hang started designing a greenhouse, water system, hydroponic pipes, seedling nursery system... with a total capital of over 50 million VND.

Introduced by the Women's Union of Chi Cong commune, we came to Hoa Hang's hydroponic vegetable garden. At that time, Hang was working hard in her hydroponic vegetable garden. Looking at the lush, green, and refreshing vegetable racks, few people would have thought that the owner was a slim woman over 40 years old.

Ms. Hang shared about the technique of growing vegetables using hydroponics, which is to be able to actively adjust the nutrition for the plants, the nutrients are provided according to the requirements of each type of vegetable. Water is saved because the plants use water directly in the solution container, so water is not lost due to seepage into the soil or evaporation. All nutrients have been pre-mixed in a large tank, watering with an automatic on/off system is very convenient. Thanks to that, labor costs are reduced because there is no need to do some steps such as tilling the soil, weeding, hoeing and watering, creating safe vegetable products for users...

Currently, Ms. Hang's hydroponic vegetable garden is growing bok choy, spinach, water spinach, lettuce, cucumber... with prices ranging from 30,000 - 40,000 VND/kg depending on the type. In the beginning, she is only experimenting with growing hydroponic vegetables on Facebook and Zalo so that people can buy them. In the future, Ms. Hang plans to expand the area and research to grow many other types of vegetables to have enough products to supply the market.

Ms. Hoang Thi Minh Thuy - Vice President of the Women's Union of Chi Cong commune said: Ms. Hang's hydroponic vegetable growing model is very good and new. In the coming time, the Union will create conditions to help her access preferential loans to support her in planning the implementation, at the same time introduce and find output for the products, and replicate the high-tech vegetable growing model.

It can be affirmed that Ms. Hoa Hang's hydroponic vegetable growing model is the first high-tech agricultural production model in Tuy Phong, but has achieved high efficiency, the products are safe for the health of users.
