2021 was a particularly difficult year for Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Mo, with many economic difficulties and her child suffering from a serious illness.
Faced with that situation, Mrs. Mo could not think of a way to make money, but had to work for hire and borrow money to pay for her child's treatment and family expenses.
While treating my child, the doctor advised me to eat blueberries as a supplement for my child.
Since then, Ms. Mo has had a relationship with the mulberry tree. After realizing that the mulberry tree is easy to grow, has few pests and diseases, has a high price and stable income, Ms. Mo decided to plant 1,000m2 to gain experience, grasp market information and have income but not much.

In 2023, Ms. Mo had 2 harvests, one harvest of mulberry was more than 5,000kg, sold at the garden price of 50,000 VND/kg, the income reached over 500,000,000 VND, after deducting all expenses, the family earned a profit of over 300,000,000 VND.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Mo said: Mulberry trees are easy to grow, have few pests and diseases, have high productivity, traders come to the garden to buy, the price is high and always stable. With an area of 10,000m2 in 2024, it will bring higher income to the family compared to 2023.
This is a new model, easy to grow, short growing time, few pests, low cost, high and stable price, traders come to buy.
In the coming time, the model of growing mulberry fruit trees needs to be expanded to help people inside and outside the locality together increase their income with this new crop.
