The exhibition introduces 103 photos showing the great contributions, leadership role and strategic decisions of General - Commander-in-Chief Vo Nguyen Giap in the resistance war against France in general and the Dien Bien Phu Campaign in particular. At the same time, it honors the glorious feats of arms of the Vietnamese army and people in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign in 1954; Arousing national pride, the will to fight steadfastly, indomitably, overcoming all difficulties and challenges in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

The exhibition is divided into 3 parts, Part I: Homeland and family of General Vo Nguyen Giap; Part II: General Vo Nguyen Giap and the Dien Bien Phu Campaign; The affection of the people of Dien Bien for General Vo Nguyen Giap. The photo exhibition "Imprints of General Vo Nguyen Giap with Dien Bien Phu" is open to the public from August 20 to September 20, 2024 at the Quang Binh General Museum.
The exhibition aims to honor and pay tribute to the great contributions of General Vo Nguyen Giap to the cause of national liberation, national reunification, construction and protection of the Fatherland; to remember the sacred feelings and deep concern of the beloved General for the people of the whole country in general, for the Party Committee, government, army and people of all ethnic groups in Dien Bien province in particular; to propagate and educate the younger generation about deep gratitude to the generation of fathers and brothers who sacrificed their blood for the independence and freedom of the nation.

The Dien Bien Phu victory is associated with the name and military strategy of General Vo Nguyen Giap - Commander-in-Chief of the campaign, the eldest brother of the Vietnam People's Army, a legendary general, a military genius of the era and an excellent student of President Ho Chi Minh. He has been known, admired and respected by the whole world; the General's contributions and sacrifices will forever be recorded in the glorious history of our nation and our army as an immortal epic with the spirit of "Putting public service first" as the General's name: "Culture takes care of national affairs, Literature becomes Martial, Martial understands the people's hearts, Martial becomes Culture".
