This morning, January 8, the Quang Tri Provincial Association for Promotion of Education held a conference to review the work of promoting education, promoting talents, building a learning society (XHHT) in 2024, and deploy tasks for 2025.

Currently, the province has 2,983 associations (an increase of 178 associations compared to 2023), with a total of 231,473 members, accounting for 34.27% of the province's population. In 2024, the work of promoting learning, promoting talents, and building a learning society will continue to develop strongly and comprehensively, bringing high efficiency.
The whole province has 143,203/180,026 households registered for the "Learning Family" model, of which 125,950 households were recognized as "Learning Family", reaching a rate of 69.96%; 1,312/2,324 clans registered for the "Learning Clan" model, with 1,197 clans recognized as "Learning Clan", reaching a rate of 51.51%; 755/853 villages, hamlets, and neighborhoods registered for the "Learning Community" model, with 636 villages, hamlets, and neighborhoods recognized as "Learning Community", reaching a rate of 76.17%; 592/632 units registered for the "Learning Unit" model, with 577 units recognized as "Learning Unit", reaching a rate of 91.3%.

The model of "Learning Citizens" has been widely implemented by all levels of the association. Currently, the group of farmers and rural laborers has 11,196 people, the group of workers and small-scale craftsmen has 25,599 people, the group of managers, civil servants and employees from the commune level and above has 14,785 people recognized with the title of "Learning Citizens".
In 2024, the provincial Education Promotion Fund mobilized more than 43.6 billion VND. From this fund, the association at all levels awarded scholarships, rewards, and gifts to more than 10,394 beneficiaries, mainly poor but studious students and students who won high prizes in exams.
In 2025, the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education and grassroots associations will continue to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the directions of the central government, Party committees, and local authorities on promoting education, promoting talents, and building a learning society.
Promote training and synchronous deployment of software tools to evaluate and recognize the title of "Learning Citizen" in the province. Closely coordinate with the Department of Education and Training and related units to effectively implement the work of promoting learning and talent in schools. Strengthen the mobilization to build and develop the learning encouragement fund at all levels of the association to effectively perform the work of rewarding and awarding scholarships, helping poor students to excel in their studies and lives.
On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education awarded certificates of merit to 4 groups and 7 individuals with many achievements in promoting education, promoting talents, and building a learning society.
