Deploying the Vietnamese Business Culture Criteria Set in 8 provinces in the Southeast region

The set of criteria for Vietnamese business culture is the first set of standards on business culture directed by the Prime Minister. Participating ministries and branches will deploy it in 8 provinces in the Southeast region.

On May 24, the Organizing Committee of the Campaign "Building Vietnamese Corporate Culture" (BTC 248) coordinated with the Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Ministry of Industry and Trade to organize a Conference to deploy the Vietnamese Business Culture Criteria Set with 8 provinces in the Southeast region (including: Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai, Tay Ninh, Binh Thuan and Ninh Thuan).

The conference aims to implement the direction of the Prime Minister in Official Dispatch No. 1925/VPCP-KGVX dated March 23, 2021 on assigning the Chairman of the Vietnam Business Culture Development Association - Head of the Organizing Committee of the Campaign "Building Vietnamese Business Culture" to promulgate the Set of Criteria for Vietnamese Business Culture and guide its implementation nationwide.

The set of criteria for Vietnamese business culture is the first set of standards on business culture directed by the Prime Minister, with the participation of ministries and branches. The development process has received intellectual contributions, enthusiasm and responsibility from ministries, branches, scientists, experts, businesses and the press.

The set of criteria, after completion, was reported and approved by the Prime Minister for promulgation as a basis for considering and recognizing "Enterprises meeting Vietnamese business culture standards".

Speaking at the Conference, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy said that corporate culture is not only the image of the enterprise but also the image of the nation, with specific behaviors. That is the behavior with customers, the community; the way of communicating with domestic and foreign partners, responsibility to society, especially when we participate in bilateral and multilateral partnership agreements, the role of corporate culture is demonstrated more deeply and comprehensively.

According to Deputy Minister Trinh Thi Thuy, in order to concretize the Party's views on the important position and role of corporate culture, the Prime Minister has chosen November 10 every year as Vietnam Corporate Culture Day.

"After more than 6 years of implementing the Campaign to Build Vietnamese Corporate Culture, Organizing Committee 248 and the Vietnam Corporate Culture Development Association - the Standing Agency of the Organizing Committee, have held conferences to deploy the Campaign nationwide, contributing to spreading the message of building corporate culture and business culture to a large number of domestic and foreign enterprises," Deputy Minister Trinh Thi Thuy affirmed.

At the Conference, the Signing Ceremony of the Program for Coordination in Implementing the Vietnamese Business Culture Criteria took place between the 248 Organizing Committee and the Leaders of the People's Committees of 8 provinces and cities, and a number of Associations and Unions in the Southeast region.

In addition to introducing the Criteria and Regulations for selecting enterprises that meet Vietnamese business culture standards, the Conference also organized a Discussion with the theme "Corporate Culture in the Digital Transformation Era" with the participation of speakers with extensive experience in building and developing corporate culture in the digital transformation era in Vietnam.
