Giving more than 100 Tet gifts to homeless people and orphans

More than 100 gifts were given by singer Hien Anh Sao Mai and the Vietnamese Zen Business Community to homeless people, orphans, and families in difficult circumstances in Hanoi.

With the desire to share with the disadvantaged on the occasion of Tet, singer Hien Anh Sao Mai and the Vietnamese Zen Business Community launched the charity program "Happy Tet filled with happiness". From the hearts of benefactors, the program organized a trip to give Tet gifts in Hanoi on the occasion of the upcoming Tet.

Specifically, on the morning of the 27th of Tet (January 26, 2025), in Phuong Liet ward, Thanh Xuan district, the program presented 20 gifts (each worth 1.08 million VND, including cash and banh chung, gio, rice cakes, masks, balm, nut milk, etc.) to 20 children at the Hanoi Orphanage Support Center. In the evening of the same day, philanthropists went to many locations in Hanoi such as the foot of Long Bien bridge, K Hospital, along Ba Trieu, Han Thuyen, Minh Khai streets, etc. to give homeless people 80 gifts, each worth 300,000 VND.

At the same time, the program also organized a ceremony to honor people with meritorious services, families of martyrs, and give gifts to people in need at residential area No. 7 Le Hong Phong, Dien Bien ward, Ba Dinh district.

"Tet and spring are the times for reunion and sharing. However, there are still many people who have no place to return to, lack funds or orphans who need the warmth of the community. The Vietnamese Zen Business Community wishes to share a little bit of their hearts with those in unfortunate circumstances," singer Hien Anh Sao Mai shared.

The Vietnamese Zen Music Entrepreneurs Community was founded by Hien Anh Sao Mai in 2012 with the aim of spreading Buddhist music, connecting kind hearts through community activities. Over the past decade, this unit has produced 6 albums with the theme "Duyen" to raise charity funds, supporting thousands of difficult lives.
