AI Challenge 2023 is similar to the international science competition Lifelog Search Challenge and Video Browser Showdown. After more than 3 months of implementation, it has attracted more than 2,700 contestants from 106 units and schools across the country to register to participate. The participating teams developed many artificial intelligence tools and algorithms to query information from the image and news video database provided by the organizers in the fields of transportation, education, health, communication, etc., thereby contributing to the development of smart cities in the period 2020-2030.
After the preliminary round, the jury selected 60 teams to advance to the final round held on October 8 at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education. In the final round, the teams used tools, software, and artificial intelligence application systems built by the teams themselves to solve the queries raised by the jury. At the closing ceremony, the organizing committee commended and awarded 24 prizes in groups A and B (including 2 first prizes, 2 second prizes, 6 third prizes, 14 consolation prizes, and 4 potential prizes), with a total prize value of 167 million VND.
