Awarding ceremony of the Political Contest on protecting the Party's ideological foundation

The ceremony was chaired by the Party Committee of the Central Agencies, in coordination with the Communist Magazine, Nhan Dan Newspaper, Vietnam Television, Voice of Vietnam and Vietnam News Agency. Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department attended the ceremony. Also attending were members of the Party Central Committee, Party Secretaries of affiliated Party Committees.

The 2023 political contest on protecting the Party's ideological foundation in the Party Committee of the Central Agencies has become a widespread political activity, attracting the active participation of a large number of cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and workers, especially union members and young people in the Party Committee of the Bloc, contributing to raising awareness and responsibility for protecting the Party's ideological foundation, forming a widespread network to firmly protect the Party's ideological foundation, effectively combating and refuting erroneous and hostile views, contributing to protecting the Party, the State and the regime.

After 4 months of implementation, from March to June 2023, the Organizing Committee received 3,736 works of 03 categories: Magazine, Newspaper, Radio/television/video clip sent by 52/61 Party Committees under the Party Committee of the Central Agencies and the Youth Union of the Central Agencies to participate in the Contest. The Preliminary Council and the Final Council judged the contest through 02 rounds. As a result, 51 works won awards.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department, commended, acknowledged and highly appreciated the Party Committee of the Central Agencies for actively responding and participating in the Contest very proactively, creatively, promptly and effectively.

At the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia requested the Party Committee of the Central Agencies and its subordinate Party Committees to continue to study and thoroughly raise awareness of Party committees and organizations on the responsibility of leadership, direction, exemplary spirit, and self-awareness of cadres and Party members, especially leaders, in deploying and implementing Resolution 35 of the Politburo. Link the effective implementation of the Resolution with the implementation of the Central Committee's resolutions, directives, and conclusions on Party building and rectification, and on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and lifestyle.

Speaking at the Ceremony, Party Central Committee member, Party Secretary of the Bloc Nguyen Van The said that this is an opportunity to promptly commend and reward authors and groups of authors whose works won prizes in the Contest, contributing to propaganda, raising awareness and responsibility of cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and workers in the Bloc Party Committee for the task of protecting the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against erroneous and hostile views.

At the same time, continue to propagate and widely disseminate the articles that participated in the 2023 Contest in the Party Committee of the Bloc and society, contributing to improving the effectiveness of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, effectively fighting and refuting erroneous and hostile views in the Party Committee of the Bloc of Central Agencies in particular and nationwide in general.

On this occasion, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Bloc awarded Certificates of Merit to 16 collectives with outstanding achievements in organizing the Contest.

The Organizing Committee awarded 01 First Prize in the Magazine category to the work "Identifying and refuting some false and hostile arguments about the fight against corruption and negativity in Vietnam today" by author Nguyen Cao Sieng, Party Committee of the Communist Magazine; 02 Second Prizes; 03 Third Prizes and 11 Encouragement Prizes.

Newspaper category: 01 First prize for the series of articles "Fighting against distorted arguments on the policy of encouraging and protecting dynamic and creative cadres for the common good" by author Nguyen Hai Dang, Nhan Dan Newspaper Party Committee; 02 Second prizes; 03 Third prizes and 11 Encouragement prizes.

Radio/television/video clip category: 01 First prize belongs to the work "Ho Chi Minh's Thought - Precious Spiritual Asset of the Party and the Vietnamese People" by the Author Group: Dao Thanh Truong, Nguyen Thi Hang Nga, Nguyen Thi Minh Chau, Nguyen Thi Thu Hien, Party Committee of Voice of Vietnam; 02 Second prizes; 03 Third prizes and 08 Encouragement prizes.
