This morning, September 28, in Dong Ha City, Tuoi Tre Newspaper coordinated with Quang Tri Provincial Youth Union to award "Tiep suc den truong" scholarships to 101 new students facing difficult circumstances in Quang Tri. Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam; representatives of the leaders of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, and the Provincial Education Promotion Association attended. Editor-in-Chief of Tuoi Tre Newspaper Le The Chu said that starting with the first 33 new students from Quang Tri who were in difficult circumstances, up to now, in its 21st year, the "Quang Tri Compassionate Club" has supported 2,787 students with a total budget of more than 27 billion VND.
Not stopping at material support with scholarships, accommodation, and jobs for new students, the "Quang Tri Affection" Club also brings poor students affection, invaluable spiritual encouragement, helping new students to confidently enter university.
21 years of sowing love with thousands of lucky students who have been helped, the fate of many young people has changed. Many have grown up, become talented, successful people, and have contributed to their homeland and country.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam emphasized: Quang Tri province always identifies the work of promoting learning, promoting talents, and building a learning society as an important and difficult task that requires the participation of the entire political system and the whole society with appropriate, creative, regular, continuous, and highlighted methods.

On this occasion, the provincial leaders, Tuoi Tre Newspaper, Quang Tri Provincial Youth Union and sponsors awarded 101 "Tiep suc den truong" scholarships in 2024 to 101 new students facing difficult circumstances in Quang Tri. The total cost of the program is nearly 2 billion VND sponsored by the "Nghia tinh Quang Tri" Club and Binh Dien - Quang Tri Joint Stock Company.
Each scholarship is worth 15 million VND in cash, including 2 special scholarships worth 50 million VND/for 4 years. Nestlé Vietnam Co., Ltd. sponsored gifts for new students; Vinacam Scholarship Fund - Vinacam Group Joint Stock Company sponsored 4 laptops for new students with special difficulties and lack of learning equipment.

It is known that the program "Support to go to school" of Tuoi Tre Newspaper was established in 2003 with 27 scholarships awarded for the first time to new students facing especially difficult circumstances in Quang Tri.
By 2023, the “Tiep suc den truong” scholarship had been awarded to 24,597 new students in difficult circumstances to enter university and college with a total amount of more than 219 billion VND. The “Tiep suc den truong” scholarship program in 2024 of Tuoi Tre Newspaper is for more than 1,100 new students in difficult circumstances nationwide with a total budget of more than 20 billion VND.
