Head of Muong Lat village, Mr. Ha Van Thai, Thanh Hoa province's art performance troupe shared: Coming to the program "Welcome New Year 2025", our Thanh Hoa troupe brings traditional songs and dances of the highland ethnic groups, both to exchange and learn from other ethnic groups, and to restore and spread the unique cultural values of our own people. In particular, we perform the Khen dance - a musical instrument with profound meaning to the Thai ethnic people. Khen is a musical instrument that has been associated with the daily life of the Thai people for generations, and all Thai people know it. Therefore, we always strive to maintain, learn and pass it on to future generations.
Ms. Phan Thi Luu, a Dao ethnic minority in Muong Lat, Thanh Hoa, a bell dance performer, shared: I feel happy because today, fortunately, the weather is not too cold, pleasant, so many people came to participate and watch us perform. Among the performances that the Thanh Hoa troupe brought to this fair, I am one of the artists performing the bell dance, this is a unique dance of the Red Dao people, which has been passed down through many generations and performed in many traditional ceremonies. The dance is the way for our ethnic people to express their belief in good things to come in the new year, wishing for their families to always be healthy, peaceful, and prosperous in business. It is also a way for us to introduce to our ethnic groups the cultural features left by our ancestors.

We hope that the implementation of this program will meet the practical needs of localities, especially cultural institutions such as the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village, so that there is not only a complete legal corridor, policy mechanism but also the motivation and resources of the state to continue, mobilize social forces, join hands to invest in worthy culture, so that the country has traditional cultural values preserved and creates new cultural activities, absorbs the world's quintessence, enriches the country's culture.
"Entering 2025, a year that is expected to have many challenges but also bring many advantages, we will develop plans and solutions to innovate activities and improve quality at the Cultural Village. There are three main pillars: One is to coordinate with the locality to bring artisans to organize activities, bring cultural values here to create many highlights and attract tourists. Second is to try to promote socialized facilities to meet the needs of tourists coming to the village in the coming time. Finally, we apply digitalization to make the Cultural Village a smart tourist area, so that the cultural values of ethnic groups not only reach tourists visiting the village but also people from all regions can learn and experience" - Mr. Trinh Ngoc Chung added.
