The Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee assigned agencies and units to advise on building action programs to implement the Resolutions of the 8th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee, to bring the resolutions into life.
On December 4, the Politburo and the Secretariat held a national conference to study and disseminate the Resolution of the 8th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee.
The conference was held in a direct and online format from the Central bridge at the Dien Hong Meeting Room (National Assembly House) connecting with the bridges of the provincial Party Committee, city Party Committee, Central Party Committee and the extended transmission line to the grassroots.
Attending and directing the conference were comrades: Vo Van Thuong, Politburo member, President; Pham Minh Chinh, Politburo member, Prime Minister; Truong Thi Mai, Politburo member, Permanent member of the Secretariat, Head of the Central Organization Commission.

At the conference, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai said that after this conference, the most important step to put the resolution into practice is to develop an action program to effectively implement the resolutions, suitable to the characteristics and conditions of Ho Chi Minh City.
On that basis, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee directed the development of action programs to implement the Resolutions of the 8th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee.
In particular, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee assigned the responsibility to the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to preside over and advise on two action programs of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee to implement the resolution: On continuing to innovate and improve the quality of social policies, meeting the requirements of the cause of building and defending the Fatherland in the new period; Strategy for defending the Fatherland in the new situation.
At the same time, assign the Party Delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ho Chi Minh City to preside over and advise the action program of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee to implement the resolution on continuing to promote the tradition of great national unity, building our country to be increasingly rich, prosperous, civilized and happy.
The Propaganda Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee was assigned to preside over and advise the action program of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee to implement the resolution on continuing to build and promote the role of the intellectual team to meet the requirements of rapid and sustainable national development in the new period.
The Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee requested that the agencies and units assigned to advise on the action programs of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Standing Committee to implement the Resolutions of the 8th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee, urgently complete the draft, submit it for comments according to the correct procedures and regulations so that the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Standing Committee can promptly issue the action program in December 2023.
Along with that, the Thu Duc City Party Committee and the district and county party committees, the grassroots party committees directly under the City Party Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the socio-political organizations of Ho Chi Minh City continue to direct the organization of research, study, dissemination and propaganda of the Resolutions of the 8th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee to cadres, party members, union members and association members with appropriate forms for each subject, ensuring seriousness, practicality and effectiveness.
Comrade Nguyen Ho Hai believes that with the solidarity and high consensus of the entire Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, the support and response of the city's people, and the highest political determination, Ho Chi Minh City will definitely successfully organize the implementation of the action program to implement the resolutions and conclusions of the 8th Central Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the 11th National Party Congress of Ho Chi Minh City.
