On July 29, a source from Dan Tri reporter said that the People's Committee of District 10 (HCMC) has just posted a red warning sign at the cosmetic facility of Shimai Beauty Institute Joint Stock Company (address: No. 9, Street No. 6, Ha Do residential area, Ward 12, District 10).
This facility was suspended for providing medical examination and treatment services without a relevant operating license. The suspension period is 18 months, starting from July 15.

This is also the second cosmetic facility in District 10 to be given a red warning sign, after the People's Committee of District 10 launched a 45-day peak campaign to inspect and handle unlicensed facilities operating in the field of medical examination and treatment specializing in cosmetic surgery in the area (from July 1 to August 14).
The first establishment to have a warning sign posted was the business household "DR EVA" (address 21, Street 8, Ha Do Centrosa area, Ward 12, District 10). Authorities said that establishments with "suspended operations" signs posted in front of their doors will be closely monitored by the Department of Health and local authorities.
Previously on July 18, the Department of Health received a call from the hotline, reflecting a beauty facility that was not of the quality as advertised online at address 21, Street 8, Ha Do Centrosa area, Ward 12, District 10.

During the meeting, members of the Special Task Force of the Department of Health identified this as the "DR EVA" business establishment that had been handled by the interdisciplinary inspection team of the People's Committee of District 10, suspended for 18 months (from May 28) and is still in effect. After discussion, the Task Force decided to conduct a surprise inspection of this establishment.
At the time of inspection on the morning of July 19, the Delegation noted that the facility was closed. With the cooperation of local authorities, the people inside the house at the stated address were eventually forced to open the door. The Delegation noted that there were 7 female employees at that time.
At the reception desk on the ground floor of the facility, there are many "DR. Van Clinic" tickets with the names and phone numbers of customers who have had the services of "vaginal labiaplasty, episiotomy...".
All of this was done while the facility was suspended from early June until July 18. Ms. QTN, one of the seven employees present at the facility, admitted to providing the above services to customers from June until now.

The inspection team noted that the rooms in the house were equipped with gynecological beds, surgical lights and medical instruments for "vagina" cosmetic services.
The staff of this facility proactively hid medical equipment in the staff bedroom on the 3rd floor.
Checking the Facebook account named "Doctor Le Van - Expert in Reviving the Girl", the authorities discovered that the above account posted advertising content such as "rejuvenating the rose garden - passionate happiness...", "treating sagging girls, ugly scars...".
The advertisements clearly state the address of the facility at 21, Street 8, Ha Do Centrosa area, Ward 12, District 10. Notably, all the staff working at "DR. Van Clinic" are determined to not be masters or doctors as illegally advertised on Facebook. All do not have a certificate to practice cosmetic surgery.
Faced with the above facility's disregard for the law, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health said it would continue to clarify violations and strictly handle them, and consider transferring the case to the investigation agency. In addition, the People's Committee of District 10 decided to post a red sign warning people that the "DR EVA" facility is being suspended, right in front of the above address.
