At the meeting, leaders of Thanh Hoa City and Hoi An City exchanged information on the socio-economic situation, national defense and security, Party building work and political systems of the two localities; discussed tourism development; and discussed plans to prepare for organizing activities to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the twinning of Thanh Hoa City and Hoi An City (February 12, 1961 - February 12, 2026).
