On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 / April 30, 2025), the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism in collaboration with photographer Cao Ky Nhan introduced the photo series "50 symbols of Ho Chi Minh City" fully expressing the multi-faceted beauty of the City named after Uncle Ho. The photo series ranges from historical sites such as the Independence Palace, Ho Chi Minh City Post Office, War Remnants Museum to cultural and artistic spaces such as the City Theater, the Museum of Fine Arts, the Golden Dragon Water Puppet Theater... Ho Chi Minh City also has modern symbols such as Landmark 81 Building, Bitexco Building, while maintaining traditional features in craft villages such as: Le Minh Xuan incense making village, Cu Chi rice paper making village.
