In two videos provided to the press by parents on March 29, in class 4 of Kindergarten 4 (branch on Dien Bien Phu Street, District 3), despite pulling the children into a hidden corner, the teacher was still caught on camera slapping the children, causing them to fall, and grabbing their heads.
Specifically, in one video, while feeding the children lunch, when the whole class had finished eating and only 2 children remained, a kindergarten teacher wearing a black shirt had these 2 children sit in a hidden corner to feed them. Then while the children were eating, she swung her arms and hit them repeatedly.
After hitting the child, she went out, more than 1 minute later she returned and continued to hit the child many times in the face and head, causing the child to fall backwards.
In another video, the teacher in black fed the baby. She fed the baby very quickly, and when the baby vomited, she grabbed his head, pressed it down, and made him vomit into the bowl of food, then continued feeding the baby.
Responding to the press, Mr. Luong Trong Binh - Deputy Head of the Department of Education and Training of District 3, said that he had received a report from the school and was currently working with the teacher and parents.
For now, the Department of Education and Training of District 3 is letting the school handle the matter in accordance with its functions and duties. At the same time, the Department of Education and Training of District 3 has also sent a report to the Department of Education and Training and related units regarding the incident.

Temporarily suspend the teacher in the video
According to the Deputy Head of the Department of Education and Training of District 3, the teacher in the video is currently 6 months pregnant, and the Department of Education is being cautious in considering disciplinary action. However, on the part of Kindergarten 4, in accordance with the regulations on disciplinary action, the staff and officials at the scene have temporarily suspended the teacher.
Responding to Tuoi Tre Online on April 8, an official from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training also informed that the teacher in the video is pregnant. After the incident, she was traumatized and showed signs of miscarriage. "Currently, the department is reviewing regulations and reporting to all levels," he said.
