- 4 days off for September 2nd, some localities earn thousands of billions thanks to tourists

According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, about 960,000 visitors visited Ho Chi Minh City's entertainment venues during the 4-day National Day holiday. Tourism revenue is estimated at VND2,900 billion, up 5.5% over the same period in 2022.

Meanwhile, in Da Nang, there were more than 250,000 visitors to the city, an increase of 6.3% compared to 2022. Of which, international visitors reached nearly 79,000 and domestic visitors reached more than 175,000. The majority were individual visitors, accounting for about 85%. During the 4-day September 2 holiday, the number of tourists to Ba Ria - Vung Tau reached 535,106, an increase of 36.49% over the same period in 2022. Total revenue was about 298 billion VND.

In Can Tho, the total number of visitors and tourists in Can Tho City during the National Day holiday is estimated at about 180,000. Total revenue from tourism reached nearly 200 billion VND.

During the holidays, the number of visitors to Hai Phong increased dramatically. During the 3 peak days (1-3/9), most tourist accommodation facilities in Do Son and Cat Ba reached 90% room occupancy. - No warnings about dragon fruit violating food safety in the UK
