Accordingly, the high schools with the highest 10th grade benchmark scores in Hanoi in 2024 include: Chu Van An, Kim Lien, Phan Dinh Phung, Yen Hoa, Le Quy Don (Ha Dong), Viet Duc, Nguyen Gia Thieu, Thang Long, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai and Nhan Chinh.
There are no "new elements" in this list, but there are changes in rankings compared to 2023.
Accordingly, Chu Van An High School lost its top position for the first time. Instead, there are two high schools with benchmark scores as high as Chu Van An: Yen Hoa and Le Quy Don (Ha Dong). This is considered an event because up to now, there has always been a gap in benchmark scores between Chu Van An High School and all other schools in Hanoi.
In second place is Thang Long High School. After many years of losing rankings, often in the bottom half of the top 10, this year Thang Long School has made a breakthrough with a benchmark score of 42.25, only 0.25 points less than Chu Van An.
Ranking third at 41.75 points are 3 schools: Kim Lien, Phan Dinh Phung and Nguyen Gia Thieu.
In last place are 3 schools: Viet Duc, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai and Nhan Chinh.
Scores from 40 and above also include the following schools: Xuan Dinh and Cau Giay.
Compared to last year, the benchmark scores of top schools increased and decreased unevenly. However, the group of schools with increased benchmark scores increased very slightly by 0.25 points. Except for Thang Long School, which increased by 1.25 points.
Meanwhile, the group of schools with reduced benchmark scores decreased by 1-2 points.

A total of 1,925 candidates scored 45 points or more, an average of 9 points/subject.
From the 40-point mark and above, 29,130 candidates passed. This number accounts for about 39.5% of the total target of 119 public high schools (excluding autonomous and jointly managed public schools).
This year, Hanoi assigned 119 public high schools to enroll 1,657 new classes and 73,695 students for grade 10.
Of which, 4 specialized schools and specialized classes recruited 82 new classes and 2,970 students.
