In addition, on the Telegram channel, President Zelensky announced that during his trip to the South American country, he visited Cape Verde to meet with host country Prime Minister José Ulisses de Pina Correia e Silva.
Mr. Milei's inauguration will take place on December 10 (local time).
Ukrainian media speculated that President Zelensky's trip to Argentina could serve as a cover for a meeting between him and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban to resolve disagreements over Kiev's efforts to join the European Union (EU).
The EU summit on December 14 and 15 in Brussels (Belgium) will decide whether to start the accession negotiations with Ukraine and Moldova.
According to EU regulations, a decision can only be passed if it receives consensus from all 27 member states in the bloc, however, Prime Minister Orban still maintains his opposition to starting negotiations with Ukraine at the current stage.
Last week, Ukrainian President's Chief of Staff Andriy Yermak said he was trying to arrange a suitable time for the meeting between the two countries' leaders.
