Recently, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky complained about the information that North Korean troops were deployed to Russia, while the United Nations Secretary-General called for avoiding "internationalization" of the conflict in the Eastern European country.

In a speech to the nation on November 3, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that on November 2, North Korea tested a new ballistic missile Hwasong-19 with a record flight time and at a suitable altitude, but the world only watched as the incident became more and more serious.

He said Pyongyang had learned how to produce better artillery through cooperation with Russia and now, by working with Russia, the North Korean army would learn modern warfare.

According to the Ukrainian leader, the first thousands of North Korean soldiers are not far from the Ukrainian border and the people of this Eastern European country "will be forced to fight them, and the whole world will watch again".

Believing that the whole world really wants to prevent the Russia-Ukraine conflict from expanding and spreading beyond Europe to other regions, President Zelensky also called on “everyone to do more, instead of just standing by and watching”.

On the same day, AFP news agency reported that on November 3, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres expressed concern over the news that North Korean soldiers were sent to Russia and the possibility that these forces were moving towards the conflict zone in Ukraine.

“Every effort must be made to avoid any internationalization of the conflict,” the UN chief urged, reiterating his call for “meaningful efforts” to end the conflict.

Earlier, US intelligence announced that North Korean forces had advanced to Russia's Kursk border province. So far, Pyongyang and Moscow have not denied the above accusations.

On the South Korean side, President Yoon Suk Yeol on November 4 called for comprehensive countermeasures against military cooperation between Russia and North Korea.

In a speech he authorized Prime Minister Han Duck Soo to read before the National Assembly, President Yoon expressed concern that the deepening alliance between Pyongyang and Moscow was forcing Seoul to come up with scenarios to deal with it.

Accordingly, South Korea has significantly enhanced its deterrence against North Korea's nuclear threats by strengthening its alliance with the United States and promoting trilateral security cooperation between the United States, Japan and South Korea, while pledging to enhance readiness based on security frameworks.
