Bulgarian President visits Vietnam Military History Museum

(Dan Tri) - This afternoon, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan and Bulgarian President Rumen Radev visited the Vietnam Military History Museum - a newly inaugurated project that opened to the public and tourists from November 1.
On the afternoon of November 25, Bulgarian President Rumen Radev and a high-ranking delegation of the Bulgarian State visited the Vietnam Military History Museum. Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan also attended. This is one of the activities within the framework of the official visit to Vietnam of Bulgarian President Rumen Radev.
Here, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan, Bulgarian President Rumen Radev and the high-ranking delegation of the Bulgarian State listened to the introduction and explanation of 6 exhibition topics: The early days of nation building and defense; Protecting national independence (939-1858); Fighting against French colonialism to gain national independence (1858-1945); Resistance against French colonialism (1945-1954); Resistance against the US (1954-1975); Building and defending the country (1975-2024). Colonel Le Vu Huy, Director of the Vietnam Military History Museum, introduces the MiG-21 aircraft with serial number 5121 that shot down 5 US aircraft. The aircraft participated in the fight to protect the northern sky in 1972 and was recognized by the State as a National Treasure in 2012. The Vietnam Military History Museum is a particularly representative cultural work with display components for visitors to interact and better understand the struggle for national independence of the Vietnamese people.
The museum has a modern design, creating an intuitive historical flow with suitable colors; applying many projection technologies in the exhibition, giving viewers a completely new experience. Colonel Le Vu Huy, Director of the Vietnam Military History Museum, presented the Bulgarian President with a souvenir from the Museum. Bulgarian President Rumen Radev writes in the guestbook of the Vietnam Military History Museum. This is the first visit in 11 years by the Bulgarian President and also his first visit to Vietnam as President.
