The total export turnover of the whole province in the first 9 months of 2023 reached more than 1.1 billion USD, equal to 71.2% of the plan, down 0.9% over the same period in 2022.

According to the Department of Industry and Trade, the total export turnover in the first 9 months of 2023 decreased compared to the same period in 2022 because export enterprises in the province were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, tight monetary policy, and rapid increase in world inflation.

Along with that, the continued escalation of commodity prices has affected the import demand of major markets in the world for the province's key agricultural products (such as coffee and pepper).

To boost export turnover growth, from now until the end of the year, the industry and trade sector will step up trade promotion activities and trade connections to support businesses in promoting products and expanding domestic and export markets.

At the same time, organize training courses for businesses in the province on Vietnam's commitments in implementing new generation free trade agreements such as EVFTA, CPTPP... Thereby, helping export businesses better understand how to take advantage of the opportunities that these agreements bring to exploit and seek export orders.
