On the afternoon of September 21, at the Thai Thuy District Culture and Sports Center, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism concluded a training course to improve professional skills for the management board of cultural houses, sports areas and core teams, groups, and cultural, artistic and sports clubs at the grassroots level in Thai Thuy district.

Implementing the project to support and improve the operational efficiency of the model of cultural houses, village sports areas, and residential groups in Thai Binh province in the period of 2021 - 2025, on July 19, 2023, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued a plan to organize training and improve professional skills for the management board of cultural houses, sports areas and core teams, groups, and cultural, artistic, physical education and sports clubs at the grassroots level for 279 villages and residential groups in the whole province. Thai Thuy district is the first locality selected to implement the 2023 training course with 468 trainees from 52 villages and residential groups.

During the 3 days of September 19-21, the trainees were informed of model regulations on organization, operation and criteria of cultural houses, village sports areas, and residential groups; instructions on establishing cultural house management boards; work on building clubs, teams; instructions on organizing and implementing cultural and sports activities at the grassroots level... In addition, the trainees practiced staging performances, practicing dancing and singing skills; organizing sports competitions...

The training course has contributed to building a force of cultural cadres and grassroots collaborators with effective organizational skills, maintaining regular activities at cultural houses, village sports areas, and residential groups, thereby serving political tasks and improving the material and spiritual life of the people.

At the closing ceremony, leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism awarded certificates of completion of the training course to representatives of villages and residential groups.

The trainees performed and reported at the training class after practicing staging and dancing and singing skills.
