Over the past year, the Ministry of Information and Communications has implemented a number of solutions to manage the operation of general electronic information sites (TTDT) and social networks (MXH). In particular, there are regular documents notifying and reminding organizations and enterprises to establish social networks to operate in accordance with the provisions of law; guiding general electronic information sites and social networks to regulate the rate of negative information on cyberspace, maintaining the threshold of negative information on cyberspace below 15%; guiding the Departments of Information and Communications and social networks to implement solutions to protect users and prevent fraud on cyberspace; implementing many drastic solutions to correct violations when providing information online, including strictly handling cases showing signs of "newspaperization" of general electronic information sites and social networks...

Also at the conference, delegates disseminated Decree No. 147/2024/ND-CP on the management, provision and use of Internet services and online information (the Decree replaces Decree No. 72/2013/ND-CP and Decree 27/2018/ND-CP) signed and issued by the Prime Minister . The Decree applies to domestic organizations and individuals, foreign organizations and individuals directly involved in or related to the management, provision and use of Internet services and online information.
