Meritorious Artist Ngoc Huyen is a name that receives much love from fans. Having been involved in the Cai Luong stage since the age of 14, she quickly achieved many successes. After marrying the son of famous singer Thanh Tuyen, she moved to the US to settle down and gave birth to "both boys and girls".

In a conversation with VTC News , Meritorious Artist Ngoc Huyen admitted that she is a lucky star because she is still loved by her ancestors, loved by her profession and loved by her audience. Not only that, the happy family of the female cai luong artist also makes many audiences admire.

I was in terrible pain and could not believe it was true. Until now, I still hope that it was just a nightmare. Although I know that "birth - aging - sickness - death" is impermanent, something that everyone must accept. But it is easy to say, but it is difficult to witness it with the people you love.

- Many people say that the art of Cai Luong is fading away. Does this make you sad?

- In my opinion, Cai Luong theater has always existed and developed with the times. Despite the ups and downs, the history of Cai Luong has existed for more than 100 years. I still feel the love of the audience for Cai Luong theater at present. Therefore, I am still optimistic that Cai Luong theater has never been forgotten.

- It can be seen that Meritorious Artist Ngoc Huyen is a very polite person, respectful to her seniors. Who is the person you respect and cherish the most in your career?

I am lucky to have many beloved masters in the profession, my beloved idols, authors, musicians, and colleagues who love me. Each person has an important position in Ngoc Huyen's life.

But the person who loved, encouraged, was strict and gave Ngoc Huyen the strength to pursue her passion for art was her beloved mother.

- Once the most famous cai luong artist in the 90s, Meritorious Artist Ngoc Huyen's reputation has not diminished. Do you feel lucky to still be loved by your ancestors?

I consider myself one of the lucky stars in the vast sky of Cai Luong. After many years in the profession, I still receive the love of the audience, the trust of generations of uncles, aunts, friends and colleagues, and the strong support of my family and relatives. This is a precious thing that cannot be put into words.

- You are so lucky and loved, but have you ever thought about giving up the stage to focus on your private life?

I have never had any intention of leaving the stage. At this age, the passion for my career is still burning inside me (laughs). If I am still loved and healthy, whether I am 90 or 100 years old, I still want to stand and sing on stage.

See yourself as a lucky star

When mentioning Ngoc Huyen, people will immediately think of Meritorious Artist Kim Tu Long as the two are a well-matched couple on the cai luong stage. The audience even thinks that in real life they are a married couple. To you, what kind of person is Kim Tu Long?

I am happy that my roles and Kim Tu Long’s are loved by the audience. If you ask me how many times I played husband and wife in roles with Long, I can’t count. That’s why until now, we are still called the “old” couple on stage (laughs). To me, Kim Tu Long is a passionate, passionate and hot person.

Besides Kim Tu Long, Meritorious Artist Vu Linh is the male artist who has acted with me the most. Vu Linh is a very warm person. I really like to be pampered, to lean on him to feel the protection and love from my brother. Because we were so close, his passing made me very sad.

- Besides her career, Meritorious Artist Ngoc Huyen is considered one of the artists who has a peaceful life, without having to go through many storms. She is truly a lucky star!

I consider myself a lucky star, but it is not entirely true that Ngoc Huyen has not experienced many storms. I, like ordinary people, still have to experience storms that come and go in life.

However, I always look at things lightly so that those negative things go away easily and smoothly.

- So at this age, you are used to storms and gossip?

If I say I'm used to it, it's not quite right, and if I'm not used to it, it's not right either. However, I've learned to accept everything that comes and goes in my life.

- The audience is always curious about what Meritorious Artist Ngoc Huyen's daily life is like in the US?

My life is still normal, peaceful, and happy. Every day that passes, I still get to sing, work, and witness my children grow up. That is a happy thing!

- Many people also rumor that Meritorious Artist Ngoc Huyen is a tycoon of Vietnamese showbiz?

I accept all the good rumors (laughs).

- Following your life, you will always see the image of Ngoc Huyen who is always happy, radiant, and full of energy. How do you always maintain this?

I was fortunate to be born into a large Buddhist family. For Ngoc Huyen, Buddhism has helped the whole family maintain a peaceful spirit and love for this life.

- At the age of 53, Meritorious Artist Ngoc Huyen is still young and beautiful. People say this is a sign of a happy woman, fulfilled in love. Is this true for you?

I am happy and lucky to have a husband who loves and pampers me. However, my husband is not exactly a romantic person. He lives very honestly, and that is what I appreciate the most.

Our philosophy in life is "think well and do right". That is also the secret to our family happiness.

My husband is not a tycoon.

Previously, there were also rumors that Meritorious Artist Ngoc Huyen's current success was thanks to marrying a rich husband?

My husband is not a rich man. However, his salary can still support the whole family if I am unemployed (laughs). It is not wrong to say that my husband is rich because he has a heart full of love.

- Busy with many jobs, how do you and your husband divide the work of raising the children?

We both share equally in raising the children, but sometimes I dominate my husband a little. However, I think that because we are mothers, all women in the family are like that.

- Ha Tien - your eldest daughter is beautiful and has many talents. Do you intend for your daughter to pursue art like her mother?

My daughter is also very passionate about music . Ha Tien can compose, sing and dance well because she comes from a musical family, so she needs to learn and understand. However, for Ha Tien, art is a healthy form of entertainment, but her passion is still wanting to pursue another career. My husband and I let her choose her own passion.

- It can be said that Meritorious Artist Ngoc Huyen is a successful and talented woman at work. As for her role as a mother and wife in the family, do you think you have fulfilled it well?

For an artist, family time is always incomplete, and neither am I. Therefore, I dare not say that I have fulfilled my role as a family member well. That is why I always try to make up for it and spend time with my family whenever work allows.

- The "mother-in-law and daughter-in-law" relationship between Meritorious Artist Ngoc Huyen and famous singer Thanh Tuyen also attracts many people's attention. To you, what kind of person is your mother-in-law?

I just want to briefly say that my mother-in-law - famous singer Thanh Tuyen, is a wonderful person.

- With what you have at the age of 53, are you satisfied?

For me, the meaning of the word "satisfaction" is difficult to explain. I was taught since childhood that: "When you find yourself happy, you will always be happy". For Ngoc Huyen, happiness comes from you and suffering comes from you. That is also what I always keep in mind to have a peaceful life at this age.
