Like the wandering wind is a live concert that has special significance for musician Duc Tri as it was held on his 50th birthday.
Musician Duc Tri shared: “Throughout the composing process, the musician’s job is to start from there, finding his own path for his music. This concert is part of a series of events marking a milestone in my composing journey, as well as closing an old chapter so that I can prepare to introduce many new songs written recently in a different style."
The male musician affirmed that he is a person who lives and breathes music. "Apart from music, I do nothing else. Perhaps over the past 10 years, I have spent more time with my family and children as well as music education. Now the burden of raising children is somewhat lighter as they are all grown up. I have more time for work," the musician said.

Duc Tri also explained why he thought of singer Phuong Thanh first when performing his live concert. The reason is because Phuong Thanh is his opposite image.
"I am gentle, she is passionate, I like neatness, Thanh likes chaos and improvisation. I like moderate sadness, she likes intense passion... That contrast brings discomfort and nostalgia to the audience. In the 90s, they were addicted to Phuong Thanh for that reason.
I tried to explain that phenomenon during the years from 1996 to 2006, why people were so fascinated by her. Only now do I understand, it's the way she lives like the way she sings. And when she sings my songs, it's also different from the way I think or other people sing. And so this combination, it's like when you do the math problem 1+1 doesn't equal 2 but any other answer," he shared.
Musician Duc Tri also shared about his recent activities, from publishing music books, CDs of selected love songs from the past, big and small shows… as part of a series of events marking his 30th year in the profession. This is also an opportunity for him to close a chapter of his music career.
In the near future, Duc Tri will write music in his own way. He will reduce the thing that often dominates him: "popularity" or more directly, "commerciality".
“As a songwriter and producer, I learned how to make a song easy to like. That can be good, but after so many years, I got tired of following some formula to make it a hit. Because then you don’t dare to take risks that a young musician would dare to do, and get out of the market that likes it.
In the future, I will write like I have never been known to anyone, just write freely and not care about whether it is a hit or not. And I will definitely bring a few songs like that to this show," he added.
