Joining the delegation of the Political Department, Military Region 5 to attend the seminar "Young officers of the Dak Nong Provincial Military Command: aspiration, bravery, initiative, creativity, worthy of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the new era" recently organized by the Dak Nong Provincial Military Command, we witnessed young officers and cadres expressing their opinions in an open, frank, sincere and responsible atmosphere. This is the unit chosen by the Military Region first, to gain experience in the entire Military Region. The seminar really left many good impressions, contributing to arousing, nurturing the will, belief and motivation to strive for the team of young officers.

Opening performance of the Young Officers Seminar.

Currently, the young officers of the Dak Nong Provincial Military Command account for nearly 27% of the total number of officers and officers in agencies and units who have received basic training at academies and schools; have a strong political stance, and are confident in their work and are attached to their units. However, there are still a few young officers who lack confidence in their work, have unclear motivations, and are easily shaken when facing difficulties and challenges; are hesitant, hesitant, and compare living, studying, and working conditions in the military environment with those in the outside society... These issues were analyzed and clarified by the young officers and officers at the discussion.

Senior Lieutenant Pham Van Tam, Deputy Captain of the Infantry Company, Dak Mil District Military Command, with a concise and easy-to-understand presentation, affirmed: “Young officers and cadres were born and raised when the country was at peace, had adequate living conditions, were educated and had access to advanced knowledge of humanity… These are conditions for young officers to study, strive and build the tradition of our army. Many young officers have strived to become key cadres in grassroots units. Many young officers quickly approached science and technology, had initiatives and technical solutions that brought practical results to serve the tasks of training, combat readiness and increased production”.

Senior Lieutenant Mai Minh Quan, Youth Assistant, Dak Nong Provincial Military Command shared at the seminar.

On the somewhat "sensitive" issue of resolving the relationship between dedication and enjoyment, policies for young officers such as: Arranging and appointing cadres; that is, housing and land policies; creating conditions in terms of time so that young officers can help their families and raise their children... were also enthusiastically analyzed by the young officers, boldly expressing their very genuine thoughts and feelings . According to Senior Lieutenant Tran Van Doan, Political Assistant, Gia Nghia City Military Command, dedication and creativity are the motivation, passion and belief in the meaning of one's work. If a person dedicates himself with the sole purpose of enjoyment, he will lose much of his meaning. Dedication must be offering, giving, or can be understood as sacrificing one's own time, effort, emotions and intelligence for the collective, work and common tasks of the unit. Young officers who only know how to demand enjoyment without sacrifice and dedication will sooner or later be eliminated...

Colonel Do Nguyen Hoai, Political Commissar of Dak Nong Provincial Military Command, said: “The seminar is an opportunity for the Party Committee and the Provincial Military Command to listen to the thoughts and aspirations of young officers, thereby providing a basis for ideological orientation, timely policies and measures for leadership and direction to promote the capabilities, enthusiasm, roles and responsibilities of the young officers in the entire unit. In fact, many comrades have made efforts to overcome difficulties, strived continuously and were promoted and appointed to suitable positions.”

Colonel Nguyen Thanh Xuan - Deputy Chief of Politics of Military Region 5 awarded prizes to outstanding young officers in performing their duties.

It is known that the young officers (under 35 years old) of Military Region 5 account for a high proportion of the total number of officers and officers in agencies and units. Each young officer and officer needs to promote the tradition and qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, strive to practice and study to improve their knowledge in all aspects; strictly abide by discipline and the law, be ready to receive and complete assigned tasks well, and absolutely trust in the leadership of the Party and State towards the army. Party committees and commanders of units must regularly care, help, closely follow and be close to officers and soldiers in the spirit of comradeship and teamwork, creating favorable conditions for them to practice, contribute, and gradually mature in the military environment. And the young officer seminar is one of the effective measures to do that.
