Solemnly held the ceremony to celebrate the 120th birthday of General Secretary Tran Phu

Delegates attending the 120th anniversary of the birth of General Secretary Tran Phu (May 1, 1904 - May 1, 2024)

Attending the ceremony were: Politburo member, Standing member of the Party Central Committee Secretariat, Head of the Party Central Committee's Organization Commission Truong Thi Mai; Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council Nguyen Xuan Thang; Party Central Committee member, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha; representatives of leaders and former leaders of the Party and State through the periods; leaders of Ha Tinh province; Khammouane province (Lao PDR) and a number of provinces and cities in the country.

Ha Tinh Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Trung Dung delivered a speech at the 120th Birthday Anniversary of General Secretary Tran Phu.

Delivering a speech at the ceremony, Ha Tinh Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Trung Dung reviewed the history of the life and glorious revolutionary career of comrade Tran Phu - the first General Secretary of the Party, a young and talented leader, a staunch and indomitable communist soldier, and an outstanding son of the Vietnamese people.

The Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee stated: “The 1930 Political Platform drafted by Comrade Tran Phu and the Party documents during his tenure as General Secretary are invaluable documents, contributing to the formation of the basic guidelines of the Vietnamese revolution. As General Secretary, Comrade Tran Phu, together with the Central Executive Committee, built and consolidated Party organizations at all levels; directed the good organization of communication work from the Central to the Regional Party Committee, Provincial Party Committee, from the Central to the Communist International”.

Following the example of the first General Secretary of the Party, promoting the revolutionary tradition of the homeland, the Party Committee and the people of Ha Tinh province have made great contributions to the cause of national liberation, construction and defense of the Fatherland. In the renovation process, despite many difficulties and challenges, the Party Committee and the people of Ha Tinh have risen to achieve many important results.

Ha Tinh always inherits and promotes the revolutionary tradition of the homeland; effectively implements the resolutions of Party congresses at all levels. Upholding the will, aspiration, proactiveness, creativity, with a strategic vision, determined to bring Ha Tinh to develop rapidly and sustainably, striving to become a well-off province of the country by 2030.

The Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee emphasized: "The Party Committee, government and people of Ha Tinh province are determined to join hands and build the province to develop rapidly and sustainably in the direction of modern industry, worthy of being the homeland of General Secretary Tran Phu, contributing with the entire Party, people and army to build a prosperous and happy Vietnam."

Student Ho Phuong Linh (10th grade English 1 Youth Union, Ha Tinh Specialized High School) represented the young generation to speak at the celebration ceremony.

Next, delegates attending the Ceremony enjoyed a special art program with the theme "Keep up the fighting spirit" recreating important milestones throughout the life of sacrifice and dedication of General Secretary Tran Phu.

The art program includes 3 chapters: Hong Lam's spirit; The staunch communist; The homeland forever echoes with his words, with dance scenes and stage scenes with dialogue to string together the events.

With careful, meticulous preparation and elaborate staging, the art program "Keep the fighting spirit" is a story about the process of enlightenment in search of revolutionary ideals of comrade Tran Phu, who wrote the first political platform and became the first General Secretary of the Party;
