Today, December 16, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (PCCC&CNCH), Quang Tri Provincial Police coordinated with educational institutions to organize fire fighting and rescue experience and practice sessions for students and teachers at 3 locations: iSmile Kindergarten; Phan Dinh Phung Secondary School (Dong Ha City); Nguyen Trai Secondary School (Vinh Linh District).

At the locations, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police and the Provincial Police have disseminated information to students and teachers of schools about firefighting and rescue equipment and means such as foam nozzles, slow-lowering ropes, firefighting clothing, insulation, etc.
Under the guidance of officers and soldiers of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, teachers and students of the schools experienced and practiced basic firefighting and rescue skills including: practicing first aid techniques for victims; practicing water spraying; escaping from high places to the ground using a slow-lowering rope; using portable fire extinguishers to extinguish common fires and fires caused by gas leaks; moving to escape in smoky environments; escaping using air cushions...

It is known that as of early December 2023, there were 1,774 fires nationwide, killing 137 people, injuring 102 people, and causing property damage of about 258.27 billion VND. In Quang Tri province alone, there were 106 fires, injuring 1 person, and causing property damage of about 1,912.4 million VND.
The program is organized to promote and equip students and teachers of schools with necessary fire prevention and fighting and rescue skills to proactively escape, fight fires, and rescue in case of incidents, minimizing damage caused by fires and explosions at schools or homes.
Help people experience and understand the sacrifices, hardships and difficulties of the Fire and Rescue Police force when performing dangerous tasks.
