Miss Universe's announcement quickly attracted the attention of beauty fans. The audience supported the Miss Universe organization to clarify the results of the controversy related to Miss Universe Vietnam 2023.

Previously, Bui Quynh Hoa beat 17 contestants to be crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2023. The Hanoi beauty has a lot of experience in beauty contests, but her performance in the final was considered unconvincing. Crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2023, Bui Quynh Hoa received a crown worth 2.1 billion VND and won a spot in the 72nd Miss Universe competition in El Salvador this November.
Before coming to Miss Universe Vietnam, Bui Quynh Hoa participated in Miss Ao Dai Vietnam World 2017, Miss Sea Vietnam Global 2018, and won the gold prize at Vietnam Supermodel 2018.
In 2022, she stopped in the top 10 of Miss Universe Vietnam. In September of the same year, she won the International Supermodel Contest, held in Thailand.
