Organizing the National Scientific Conference to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital

The workshop aims to continue researching and clarifying scientific arguments and historical documents on the event of taking over and liberating the capital and the 70-year process of building and developing the capital Hanoi. From there, affirming historical values and drawing lessons; proposing orientations and visions to build and develop a civilized, modern, and globally connected capital.

At the same time, it contributes to propagating and educating revolutionary traditions, strengthening the trust of cadres, party members and people in the leadership of the Party Committee and the city government in the period of promoting integration and development. Thereby, demonstrating the attention and close coordination between the Central agencies and Hanoi City in implementing the tasks of developing the capital.

The workshop is scheduled to be held on October 2, 2024, at the National Convention Center with the theme: "New vision, new opportunities to build the capital Hanoi "Cultured - Civilized - Modern, Globally connected city".

The workshop is expected to focus on issues such as an overview of Hanoi Capital, an overview of the role, position and mission of Hanoi Capital to the country; 70 years of Liberation of the Capital, achievements and some lessons learned; New vision, new opportunities to develop the Capital of culture - civilization - modernity, a globally connected city.

The City People's Committee assigned the Hanoi Institute for Socio-Economic Development to perform assigned tasks; to be the focal point for synthesizing, urging and connecting with units to coordinate the organization of the workshop; to research, edit and publish the conference proceedings.

The City People's Committee requires ensuring close, scientific and effective coordination; defining specific tasks of units. The organization work is solemn, serious, practical and effective.

The National Scientific Conference is one of the important and practical activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital.
