On the evening of May 21, the Department of Culture and Sports of Hai Phong solemnly organized a Singing - Dancing - Music Performance to celebrate the major holidays in the historical months of April and May, in response to the Red Flamboyant Flower Festival of Hai Phong City in 2024.

Hai Phong City's Singing - Dancing - Music Festival is an annual cultural activity of the city, organized and maintained annually. This is an opportunity for communes, wards, towns and districts to organize cultural and artistic activities that are closest to the people and also an opportunity to comprehensively evaluate the quality of cultural and artistic activities in localities; create conditions for cultural and artistic nuclei to contribute their talents, promote creativity in composition and performance, contribute works of high artistic value, ideological content, serving the cultural and artistic enjoyment needs of the masses throughout the city.
The Hai Phong City Singing - Dancing - Music Festival 2024 is also an opportunity for agencies and grassroots units to promote mass cultural and artistic activities, encourage participation in performances, and discover mass artistic talents. Thereby, contributing to creating conditions for actors, musicians and non-professional creative teams in localities to exchange, learn experiences, improve their qualifications, and serve the spiritual and cultural life of the people more effectively.

At the festival, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports Do Thanh Binh said: In the exciting competitive atmosphere to celebrate the major holidays of the country and the city in the historic months of April and May; responding to the Red Flamboyant Flower Festival - Hai Phong in 2024 with the theme "Hai Phong - Shining Heritage Land".
The 2024 Hai Phong City Singing - Dancing - Music Festival with the participation of 14/14 district units, was held from the beginning of 2024. Opening with the units: An Lao District on February 24, Cat Hai District and Hai An District from the beginning of March and ending with Kien An District on May 13.
The festival has the participation of thousands of actors, with more than 1,000 performances. Units have overcome all difficulties in financial resources to build and organize in 100% of districts, communes and wards.
On that basis, the organizing committee selected 43 excellent performances to participate in the Hai Phong City Singing - Dancing - Music Festival in 2024.
The Hai Phong City Singing - Dancing - Music Festival 2024 will be held from May 21 to 23, aiming to widely propagate the historical and cultural traditions, educate political ideology, patriotism, arouse revolutionary heroism, the spirit of great solidarity, pride and self-reliance of the army and people of Hai Phong City. Thereby helping to orient the aesthetic tastes and lifestyles of the public, while encouraging and motivating the spirit of the People and officials of the City to strive to fulfill political tasks well, exceeding the socio-economic targets set by the City.
