Tuyen Quang province introduces the Tourism Year program and the international hot air balloon festival

DNO - On the afternoon of March 29, in Da Nang, the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province held a media conference on the opening program of the Tourism Year and the Tuyen Quang International Hot Air Balloon Festival taking place from April 27 to May 2, 2024 in Tuyen Quang city.

This is the first activity of a series of cultural, sports and tourism events and activities taking place in 2024 to introduce and promote the potential and advantages of tourism development, cultural heritage values, resources and tourism products of the province to attract domestic and international tourists and investors to Tuyen Quang.

At the same time, bring the beauty of the revolutionary homeland "Capital of the liberated zone - Capital of resistance" closer to tourists and compatriots at home and abroad.

Accordingly, the Tuyen Quang international hot air balloon festival will take place on the morning of April 27 at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square (Tuyen Quang city) with performances and services for tourists to experience hot air balloon flying (including 10 free-flying hot air balloons, 5 hanging hot air balloons, 7 performance hot air balloons) controlled by international pilots from the UK, Australia, Spain, the Netherlands, Japan, China, Thailand... and Vietnam.

International Balloon Fiesta with live band performances every evening from April 28 to 30, 2024.

Within the framework of the opening event of Tuyen Quang Tourism Year 2024, visitors will be able to participate, experience and explore interesting unique tourism products.

At the same time, the province also organizes performances of intangible cultural heritages of the three regions such as: Don ca tai tu art, Bai choi art, Hue royal court music, Bac Ninh Quan ho folk songs...

Along with that, activities to display and introduce tourism products and craft villages; conferences to connect investment, trade, tourism and craft villages in ethnic minority and mountainous areas; launching typical tourism products with the theme "My Lam Hot Spring - Miraculous Spring"...

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee Hoang Viet Phuong informed that the province is focusing on developing 5 main tourism products: culture, history, and returning to the source with more than 600 historical-cultural relics, especially Tan Trao Special National Relic Site and Kim Binh Special National Relic Site; eco-tourism, experience; resort tourism; spiritual tourism; festival tourism with more than 40 traditional and folk festivals held annually and Thanh Tuyen festival on the occasion of Mid-Autumn Festival.
