Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province meets to celebrate 98th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day

In his speech reviewing the tradition, Mr. Phan Duc Hien, Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association, said that along with the development of the national press, the provincial press agencies and the team of journalists have been gradually maturing, constantly developing to meet the requirements of updating information, contributing to the successful implementation of political, economic and social tasks of the Party Committee, government and people in the province.

The Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association further informed that with the special attention and affection of the provincial leaders, the two provincial press agencies, Ba Ria-Vung Tau Newspaper and the provincial Radio and Television Station, have been effectively implementing the Quality Improvement Project. Thanks to that, the content and form of propaganda have been constantly improved and enhanced in all aspects.

"As a socio-political and professional organization, over the past year, the Provincial Journalists Association has continued to have many practical activities contributing to the orientation of propaganda and press management in the area, improving the professional qualifications of members, and encouraging members - journalists to complete their tasks well," Mr. Phan Duc Hien emphasized.

On this occasion, the Provincial Journalists Association awarded 3 collectives and 6 members with outstanding achievements in the Association's work and journalism activities in 2022. In addition, 19 authors and groups of authors were awarded A, B, C prizes and Encouragement prizes at the 31st Provincial Journalism Awards.

Of which, 3 works won A prize including: Vung Tau struggles with community tourism by author Pham Thi Minh Tam (Ba Ria-Vung Tau Newspaper), Hidden corners at non-public Social Protection Centers by author group Bui Thi Tham-Thai Van Minh (Provincial Radio and Television Station), Ba Ria-Vung Tau Seaport by author group Dinh Thi Huynh Giao-Nguyen Viet Nhat (Provincial Radio and Television Station).
