Ho Chi Minh City opens Tan Ky Tan Quy bridge and a series of important projects
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Construction Investment Management Board (Traffic Board), from today, January 21, Tan Ky Tan Quy bridge will officially open to traffic, helping people travel more conveniently, especially at the end of the year.
The project has a total investment of 491.70 billion VND. Of which, construction costs are about 178 billion VND, compensation for site clearance is about 190 billion VND and other costs. The starting point of the project is the intersection of Tan Ky Tan Quy - National Highway 1, the end point is the intersection of Tan Ky Tan Quy - Ma Lo.
The new Tan Ky Tan Quy Bridge is built with reinforced concrete. The length of the bridge and the road at the bridgehead is 238m (of which the length of the bridge is 82m), the width of the bridge and the road at the bridgehead is 16m (4 lanes), at the middle span there is a sidewalk, 1.5m wide on each side. At the pillar position there are stairs for pedestrians…
Speaking with Tuoi Tre Online, a representative of the Traffic Department said that from now until Tet, 7 key traffic projects will continue to be put into operation, including: Hoang Hoa Tham Street, the road connecting Tran Quoc Hoan Street (phase 1 partially opened to traffic - PV), Duong Quang Ham Street (phase 1), Luong Dinh Cua Street (phase 1), Tang Long Bridge opening to traffic in 1 unit (phase 1), the entire Nguyen Van Linh - Nguyen Huu Tho intersection and Ba Hom Bridge.

Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport said that up to now, units are entering the peak service period for the Lunar New Year (from December 20 to January 10).
According to statistics as of January 17, five inter-provincial bus stations in Ho Chi Minh City (including Mien Dong bus station, new Mien Dong bus station, Mien Tay bus station, An Suong bus station, and Nga Tu Ga bus station) have more than 4,803 vehicles serving each day.
The total number of Tet bus tickets sold at these 5 bus stations reached 351,372 tickets, equivalent to nearly 47% of the total number of tickets expected to be issued (754,610 tickets). Thus, there are about 400,000 tickets left to serve people traveling during Tet.
Of which, the old Mien Dong bus station (Binh Thanh district) sold 138,130/139,100 tickets; the new Mien Dong bus station (Thu Duc city) sold 51,102/90,000 tickets. At Mien Tay bus station, the number of tickets sold was nearly 120,000/437,000 tickets...
According to a representative of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport, many routes have sold out of sleeper tickets on peak days, most of the remaining tickets are seats or fall on off-peak days.
Speaking to Tuoi Tre Online, a representative of the new Mien Dong bus station said that all routes to the Central region such as Quang Ngai, Da Nang, Phu Yen, etc. were sold out during peak season (from December 23 to 27). However, there are still many seat buses and routes such as Vung Tau, Phan Thiet, Da Lat, Nha Trang, etc. still have Tet sleeper bus tickets. If necessary, the station will coordinate with transport units to arrange additional buses.

Mr. Bui Quang Anh Vu - member of the Board of Directors and General Director of Phat Dat Real Estate Development Joint Stock Company (PDR) has just sent a report to the Securities Commission on the trading results of PDR shares.
The report said that Mr. Vu has completed the sale of all more than 1.43 million PDR shares. After the transaction, the PDR general director no longer holds any shares in the company he leads.
The transaction was conducted from January 15 to January 20, 2025. With a price of VND 18,800/share, it is estimated that Mr. Vu earned about VND 27 billion after the above transaction.
According to the financial report for the third quarter of 2024, General Director Bui Quang Anh Vu received an income of more than 1.4 billion VND in the first 9 months of the year, equivalent to the same period in 2023.
Mr. Vu is also the person with the highest income in the leadership of PDR, higher than Mr. Nguyen Van Dat - Chairman of the Board of Directors. In addition to the General Director, two other Deputy General Directors also registered to sell PDR shares, thereby reducing the ownership ratio in this real estate company.
