District 1 Police (HCMC) are coordinating with relevant agencies to search for two missing girls today.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Chi (27 years old, living in District 7), on the evening of April 3, she and her 4 children were at area 1 Nguyen Hue walking street, Dong Khoi street, Ben Nghe ward, District 1 to sell candy to tourists. After that, Ms. Chi went to meet an acquaintance more than 100m away.
At this time, Chi's four children stood next to each other. The 10-year-old girl was taking care of her nearly 1-year-old sister. The other two girls, Nguyen Kieu Thao My (7 years old) and Le Hoang Thuy Linh (3 years old), were selling candy together.
A while later, Chi returned to look for Thao My and Thuy Linh but could not find them. After a night of searching, she reported it to the local police.
The police have extracted security camera images at Nguyen Hue walking street and the surrounding area to track down the whereabouts of the two girls. Tonight (April 6), Ms. Chi and her family are still working with the police.
It is known that Chi’s husband left her and her 5 children. Every night, Chi takes her 4 children to sell candy to tourists to make a living.
Reuniting with his uncle after 25 years, the nephew's clever action was praised.
